Josh’s notes:
“Holy fuck amazing bag smell” is the first note in my notebook about this one. On bag open, this coffee smells like a whole bag of Dove dark chocolate. You could bury your face in this. Live in this. It’s also the smell of rich chocolate frosted raspberry cake, or a filled bag of Halloween candy. On grind, it begins to smell just like a Gansito, one that has been left melting in the sun, or the shelf of a too-warm CDMX Oxxo. It’s a very strong aroma of chocolate, cake, cream, and raspberry filling. In the cup, this actually tastes like baked goods. Like, the best brownie you ever had in your life. All edges. It is uncanny the smell of high quality cacao baking in the oven, forming a delicious crust.

This particular coffee has received the official stamp of spousal approval. Not that my husband Chris isn’t a coffee drinker; quite the opposite. He’s just harder to blow away, which this coffee did many times over.
Goes shockingly well with milk, and milk based drinks if you dare to pull turbo shots with this.

Incredible offering from Hatou.
We also have an equally amazing orange bourbon with the same processing from the same farm available here: El Encanto Yeasted Thermal Shock x2 Ferment Washed Orange Bourbon

Hatou’s notes:
Check back soon.

Roast:
Roasted light and spectacularly by our friends at Hatou Coffee and Roasters in Jeju, South Korea, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen. I recommend enjoying this coffee right away.
