Josh’s notes:
The smell of green apple slices and soccer practice oranges on bag open. Specifically, sliced oranges out of a ziplock bag. They’re a little bit wet. More of the same on grind, but more green apple forward. On wet, more of an orange juice aroma with the “zing” of the green apple, if that makes sense. In the cup, the presentation is super clean with a subtle sweetness, and a light essence of green apple juice. Imagine a granny smith apple seltzer water and you’re pretty much there. As it cools, it grows juicier and juicier and becomes more overtly a fresh squeezed orange juice with the pulp. The sort you’d get out of a machine; not a carton. Like Mcdonald’s orange juice. A very nice geisha with interesting notes you don’t typically see in this varietal.
We also have a good companion geisha from the same farm, but washed!: El Caminito 48h Anaerobic Washed Geisha

“Vanessa is a fourth-generation coffee producer in her family. He inherited his father’s El Caminito farm. Even after inheriting the farm, Ms. Vanessa continues to have high goals, wanting to expand her cultivation without getting tired of it.
