Niguse Gemeda Silinga Natural Dark

from $29.00
sold out

At last, berry flavors from Ethiopia once again. Though this is a bit lateral, more blackberry and a soft blueberry note that unfolds delicately as you sip. The body is round and robust, and reminds me of a nice black tea thick with honey. Otherwise, there is an unrefined, raw honey, honeycomb-like sweetness everywhere else in this brew. Such a nice dark coffee. Reminds me of something I’d have in a kissaten. It’s been a while since I had something like that.

Goes GREAT with milk, but just as good on it’s own.

This coffee comes from Silinga Drying Station via Niguse Gemeda Mude, and is of the 74110 variety. It’s processed simply as a traditional natural.

Roasted dark by our friends at Lilo Coffee Factory in Osaka, Japan.
