Josh’s Notes:
Deep berry and grape flavor profile that resembles a nice light red wine sometimes. (Mom always asks for the “dry” wine.) As the brew cools it only gets deeper and deeper in flavor, and that red wine starts to take some white grape, apple, and sweet tart notes. Body is robust and a pleasure to sip. Highly recommend if you are looking for a "best that Ethiopia has to offer” sort of coffee!
Glitch’s Notes:
“We have just received a new shipment of rare coffee from Mr. Tamiru, who caused quite a stir at the Cup of Excellence in Ethiopia!
The extremely small coffee beans known as "Alo Berry" are produced only in limited, high-altitude areas within the Sidamo region. Their delicate yet complex aroma and flavor set them apart from other coffee beans, fully showcasing the potential of Ethiopia, one of the world's leading coffee-producing regions.
Coffee beans processed using the traditional Natural process will surprise you with the successive changes in flavor, from Grape and Red Wine to Chocolate.
Please enjoy Tamiru's wonderful coffee in the comfort of your own home.”
Roasted light and spectacularly by our friends at Glitch Coffee and Roasters in Tokyo, Japan, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen. I recommend enjoying this coffee right away.
