Josh’s notes:
Weird fruit! I could not help but feel like this coffee tasted like all sort of odd, wrinkly citrus, like Buddha’s hand and citron. These are somewhat rare in coffee tasting IMO. I also get bergamot, peach, and starfruit in the aroma and the brew. This is an incredibly complex coffee. That bergamot note is so elegant and tasteful, and even comes with a note of muscat and lychee. At the very end however is the true star of the show. A distinct blue [ramune] soda flavor. Stunning.
This one will sell quickly. Sorry.
Lilo’s notes:
“Elegant bergamot and white peach flavors.
Rich, syrupy sweetness of yellow peach and mango juice.
A sparkling candy-like sweetness with refreshing herbal nuances.”
Roast:
Roasted light and spectacularly by our friends at Lilo Coffee Roasters in Osaka, Japan, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen. I recommend enjoying this coffee right away.
