Mi Finquita Natural Geisha

$85.00
Only 3 available

Josh’s Notes:
High end natural geisha! On brew, it smells softly of cocoa Lovely, very fine pomegranate acidity and a lip puckering grapefruit sharpness, with an herbal, earthy kick that gives this cup interest while the brew is hot. Super clean transparent flavor, and a sweetly juicy long finish that sticks to the tongue for a while. I get the sensation of an unripe lemon as the cup cools, or perhaps kabosu. Similar to some other favorite coffees (like El Mango SL28), it turns into a bright refreshing cup of lemon water the longer it sits.

Like other glitch competition offerings, this coffee is quite expensive. I’ve found it is thankfully easy to brew (even my husband was able to extract a beautiful cup on his first try), but I would still only recommend purchasing this coffee if you are familiar with your brewing water/equipment and have strong consistent technique, so that you may better appreciate it.

Glitch’s Notes:
In Santa Clara, Renacimiento District in western Panama, Finca Hartmann has been cultivating coffee for three generations.

From its founding, the farm has remained faithful to its philosophy of
“Growing coffee in harmony with the environment,” nurturing its history of coffee production with deep respect for forests, land, and the surrounding ecosystem.

Building on this philosophy, a new challenge was born: Mi Finquita.
Meaning “my little farm,” Mi Finquita is an innovative project launched by farm owner Ratibor Hartmann Jr. and his wife Tessi, created to produce exceptional micro-lots by pouring generations of accumulated knowledge and expertise into each coffee.

This lot is a Mi Finquita Natural Geisha.
Processed using Finca Hartmann’s traditional Natural method—one that truly represents the essence of the farm—it delivers a cup highlighted by vibrant acidity reminiscent of pomegranate and grapefruit, complemented by a clean, transparent sweetness.

This is a special lot personally sourced by our owner during a visit to Panama last year.

We invite you to experience this one-of-a-kind coffee, born from true harmony with nature.

Roasted light and spectacularly by our friends at Glitch Coffee and Roasters in Tokyo, Japan, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen. I recommend enjoying this coffee right away.
