Josh’s notes:
Amazing lot of coffee! Tastes deep and red like Minute Maid fruit punch and Red Starburst! Lychee and strawberry notes are also a huge presence and add further to that complex fruit punch flavor. This coffee is vibrant and has plenty of depth of keep you engaged, with an intense juicyness not often seen in a Geisha. There’s also an amazing buttery white flower aroma in the cup. Highly recommended, one of my favorites this month.

Thoughtful’s notes:
Coffee was pulped and fermented for 70 hours in an anaerobic environment. Culture was added along with mosto during the fermentation step. The coffee was finally dried over 20 days.

This coffee reminds me of fruit punch. Very heavy on the red fruit aromatics while expressing subtle acidity.

This coffee stood out to me because you don’t see many processed gesha lots, but also just how forward the aromas are. If you are looking for a fun, sweet coffee, this is a good for you.

This will be the third coffee we’ve sourced from Mario Gomez, and definitely not our last.

Roast:
Roasted light and spectacularly by our friends at thoughtfulcoffee in Brooklyn, New York, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen. I recommend enjoying this coffee right away.
