Josh’s Notes:
Basil and ripe cherry tomatoes on bag open, and even more so on grind. Smells like a caprese salad (in the best way possible). There’s a wonderfully deep and vibrant aroma of more cherry tomatoes and tomato leaf on wet. In the brew, that tomato note gives way to plum and dragon fruit acidity. Super interesting multi dimensional Kenyan.
Raw Sugar Roast’s Notes:
“Rockbern president Peter Mtchiri is aiming for a revolution that is turning back to coffee producers, embracing hatena towards the politics of the coffee industry, and spreading Kenyan coffee and overturning the system.
Rockbern is a Kenyan curator whom Raw Sugar Roast used when he won 3-star in the TYPICA GUIDE.”
Roasted somewhere between light/medium and spectacularly by our friends at Raw Sugar Roast in Tokyo, Japan, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen.
