Gesha Village "Narsha" (Glitch Lot) Honey Geisha 1931

$84.00

Josh’s notes:
Smells like chamomile petals and dark honey on bag open; like a thick and sweet chamomile tea. On grind, a more pronounced chamomile and honey presentation fills the air. On wet, you get a nice and clean smelling tangerine essence rising in the vapor. In the cup, a phenomenally balanced, clean brew waits for you to taste it, with the flavor of a fruited chamomile tea sweetened thick with honey, leaving a nice aftertaste long after you take a sip. It coats the mouth in a pleasing way.

This is a classic Gesha Village offering. Quite possibly the pinnacle of geisha production on this planet, roasted with the care and attention to detail that only Glitch can offer.
It goes without saying but this coffee is quite expensive and rare. I would advise to only purchase these beans if you are well versed in your equipment and have confident technique. Or if you have money to burn. If you love a delicate geisha but elevated, this is a real winner.

Glitch’s notes:
“An exclusive Glitch Lot from Gesha Village in Bench Maji, Ethiopia, featuring Gesha 1931 variety processed as honey at 1,963-1,977m elevation. The cup offers delicate chamomile florality, tangerine brightness, and honeyed sweetness with a clean, long finish. A limited competition-grade, exclusive release from Glitch Coffee.”

Roast:
Roasted light and spectacularly by our friends at Glitch Coffee and Roasters in Tokyo, Japan.
