Smells like overripe red-galaxy purple plums on bag open. Delicious and sweet and sticky; left out in the sun a bit too long. A hint of papery raw cashew on the nose too. Interesting. On grind, a stickier scent of plum fills the air. On wet, a smell of roasted cashew, and the smell of summertime wild berries you were brave enough to try. Something dark red or purple. In the cup, super clean and balanced. There’s a silky smooth, extraordinarily easy to drink quality to this. As it cools, the plum character gets really juicy (she wants to tell you juicy secrets), and it becomes real sticky in the mouth, which lets the coffee coat the tongue and linger for a little while longer. So good.
