El Obraje "Legends Auction Heritage Lot" Double Fermented Washed Geisha

$85.00

Josh’s Notes:
Another very special coffee. When opening the bag, it smells like opening a bag of soccer practice orange slices. On grind, I get a complex, very expensive herbal tea, almost eastern medicine-esque, or a fresh cut grass of some kind to further strengthen this soccer game vibe I have. On wet, that herbal, eastern medicine note fades away completely and gives way to TANG! This smells exactly like tang powder on wet. It’s uncanny. In the cup, the brew is sweet and smooth, with that tang acidity expertly tamed by this absolutely incredible creamy mouthfeel. It is addictive to swirl around the mouth. Not to mention, this coffee is sparkling clean. This cup easily passed our blind taste test. Fetched a crazy price at auction. Highly recommended.

Producer Notes:
Double fermentation. (36 hrs cherry, 120 hrs parchment)”

Roasted light and spectacularly by our friends at Glitch Coffee and Roasters in Tokyo, Japan, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen. I recommend enjoying this coffee right away.
