Josh’s notes:
“El Milagro is a cool name” was the first thing I wrote down in my notes about this one lol.
I really want to highlight this coffee in this month’s release. I have never had a coffee taste so, so similar to a literal McDonald’s apple pie. (Did you know that the apple pie is one of the more annoying items to make on the menu there? I didn’t either.) On grind, there’s a nice sweet spice to it like Red Hots or Saigon Cinnamon. Also has a roasted orange-yness to it, like a big pot of roasted carnitas, which I guess would also include cinnamon. More than anything though, is that impression of apple pie. Literally like baked apples and spices. It’s incredible. I get a hint of raisin and maple syrup in the background as well, but I imagine this is brew dependent.

Hatou’s notes:
(Check back soon.)

Roast:
Roasted light and spectacularly by our friends at Hatou Coffee and Roasters in Jeju, South Korea, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen. I recommend enjoying this coffee right away.
